Students on campus at QUT.
WHO WE ARE
We are a group of students studying at QUT who want to know Jesus better and serve Him on campus as we move through our degree. We want to flourish in our faith while at uni, help others in this too, and see the lost on campus won for Him.
What we’re about
QUT Christians is a registered student club on campus. We are affiliated with the QUT Student Guild. We’re also affiliated with and supported by staff of AFES – the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students.
LOVE
We love God, who he is and what he does. And He is about people too. Likewise, love for others is an outworking of our faith.
REACH
We seek to share the good news of Jesus and His gospel with the lost on campus.
SEND
We won’t be at QUT forever (hopefully). We want to be trained up and equipped to serve wherever God would send us.
Our People
Meeting fellow Christians on campus was one of the greatest blessings of my university journey. Through their love, friendship, and encouragement, I grew deeper in my faith and learned not only what it means to be loved, but also how to love others well.
QUT Christians has provided me the opportunity to grow in faith on campus and to share the love of Jesus with people on campus. I have met some incredible people through QUT Christians who spur you on in faith and support you through your walk with Christ. Main meetings on Fridays are something I always look forward to in my week!
It’s been great to be able to grow more in my faith and learn about how I could live for Jesus on campus. The importance of reaching my classmates at QUT with the gospel also became apparent to me – I was in a unique position to be able to connect with people brought together to learn with open minds and willing to engage in conversations about the bigger things in life.

INTERNATIONAL
STUDENTS
International students: you don’t have to do uni alone. We have a community especially for international students, called FOCUS. We want to help you enjoy your time here in a foreign country, and to make the most of your time here to make friends and meet Jesus. All are welcome from every country, culture, religion or language.
